Spud's first birfday is June 6th. It seems as though this last year has flown past us - but he is still our 'baby'.

Scully was very slow to warm up to Spud. There was a lot of hissing and spitting when Spud first came to live with us. Scully wasn't very cordial at all!! They now play together on Scully's terms. She is the one who decides when and what they play. These times are becoming closer together and for a longer time. Of course, Spud is still an adventuresome kitten and doesn't always follow Scully's rules. It is not a big surprise to see Spud lunge from a high perch and land on Scully's back. This is usually followed by a hiss from Scully.
